Dr Alan Worrall

With over 12 years’ experience in general dental practice, Alan has dedicated tens of thousands of hours to become an expert in his field, he is extremely knowledgeable and is committed to constantly learning new skills and honing old ones. Maintaining an incredibly precise and thorough approach, Alan’s calm and composed demeanour is enjoyed by his patients. Those nervous about dental treatments particularly resonate with Alan’s peaceful nature, making dental appointments a breeze.
“I enjoy a job well done, from successfully completing a tricky root canal treatment, or ridding someone of pain, to providing a straighter and whiter smile. Helping somebody to feel more confident in their smile, or simply giving somebody a clean bill of health is my core motivation for the job.”

Sharan joined the practice in 2009 as a young associate dentist eager to learn, and enthusiastic about helping each and every patient to the best of her abilities. Sharan has spent her time at Thornley Park Dental expanding her impressive range of skills, and maintaining an unwavering passion about teeth.
“The relationships I establish with my patients are lifelong. I’ve seen my patients grow from babies to having kids of their own. I’ll give you an honest, open breakdown of what you need to maintain good clinical health. Cosmetic enhancements like composite bonding and whitening are totally available too- and I’m really good at it – just tell me what you want to achieve and I’m here to help you.”
The strong relationship Sharan has built up with her long-term patients over the years is testament to how deeply she cares about everybody that walks through her door. You can always trust that Sharan will have your best interests at the forefront of her mind with everything she does.

Aquila has garnered an amazing reputation in the Yorkshire and Manchester regions over the last decade, and in 2024 we were delighted to have her join our friendly team here at Thornley Park Dental. Aquila is a conscientious and passionate dentist with over 10 years of experience focussing on both general and cosmetic dentistry.

Aquila has a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, in particular, minimally invasive techniques. In recent years, she has invested heavily in upskilling in aesthetic dentistry; namely smile design, short term orthodontics, composite bonding, adhesive techniques and dental photography.
Mr Zeeshan Ahmed

Zeeshan’s passion for knowledge is reflected by his impressive past career in clinical research before he turned his keen mind to earning a Masters in Dental Public Health in 2013, and subsequently qualifying as a Dental Therapist in 2018.
Our patients love Zeeshan’s sense of humour and sharp wit, his cool disposition, and calm personality. Zeeshan has a wide range of knowledge and skills, which he puts to great use providing exceptional hygiene and therapy service.
“My passion is to help people. Making them feel more confident with their smiles is the daily drive for me when working at the clinic; whether I can do this by helping a patient stabilise their gum health or improve aesthetic with fillings and whitenings. I enjoy educating and empowering my patients on oral health, and aim to provide a relaxed environment for patients to feel at ease during their appointments.”
Ms Emma Christy

Thornley Park Dental has been able to enjoy Emma’s vibrant personality, bringing colour to the practice since December 2002, when she joined the team as a dental nurse. Emma’s innate passion and love for the job is evident in everything she does. After completing the necessary qualifications Emma took on the role of practice manager in 2010 and has never looked back.
Emma is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the entire practice; juggling a multitude of responsibilities to keep everything at Thornley Park Dental in order.
